By creating an account or using Seles AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are between you and Seles AI ("we," "us," or "our").

Seles is an AI-powered novel generation platform. The Service uses multi-agent artificial intelligence to generate story content including characters, plot outlines, chapter prose, and related narrative materials based on user-provided inputs such as genre, premise, and language.

You understand and agree that all generated content is produced by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or content that resembles existing works. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all output before any commercial use.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• Chapter generation consumes credits (1 credit = 1 chapter). Credits are non-refundable once consumed.
• All prices are listed in USD. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy or PayPal.
• Credit packs and subscription plans grant a fixed number of credits as described at the time of purchase.
• Unused credits do not expire, but credits are tied to your account and are non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect previously purchased credits.

• Free — 1 novel project, 3 starting credits. For evaluation purposes.
• Pro (Scribe plan) — Up to 10 novel projects, 20 credits per purchase.
• Elite (Author plan) — Unlimited novel projects, 50 credits per purchase, priority features.

Tier upgrades take effect immediately upon purchase. Tier benefits apply to your entire account.

Your content. You retain full ownership of any content you write, edit, or significantly modify within the Service. AI-generated content that you export is licensed to you for any purpose, commercial or otherwise.

Our content. The Seles platform, its branding, agent system, prompt architecture, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Seles AI. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service itself.

AI output. Due to the nature of generative AI, we cannot guarantee that generated content is unique or free from resemblance to existing works. You assume all responsibility for verifying originality before commercial publication.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory.
• Produce content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Generate explicit content involving minors in any jurisdiction.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or prompt systems.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization.
• Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or billing mechanisms.

The Service generates content using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated prose may contain factual errors, logical inconsistencies, or repetitive patterns.
• Characters, plot points, and story elements may unintentionally resemble existing published works.
• The Service does not guarantee commercial viability, literary quality, or freedom from copyright concerns.
• You are solely responsible for editing, fact-checking, and ensuring legal clearance of any content you publish.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Generation speed and availability depend on third-party AI API providers (currently Google Gemini). We may experience downtime, rate limits, or service degradation beyond our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose, or that the Service will be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Seles AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you retain access to any content you have exported, but unused credits are forfeited. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Seles AI is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
